An Outstanding 1er Cru Chablis

Dry and crisp while fine and delicate. This 1er Cru has aromas of white flowers, along with mineral notes and flint. The palate is full and beautifully balanced, with the minerality matching the mouth watering acidity from the concentrated vintage.
  • 100% Chardonnay
Cellaring:  Drink now and over the next 5 to 10 years
Food Pairing:  It will partner well with shellfish, Burgundian snails, be compelling as an apéritif, glorious with Comté cheese Gougères, and also great with fish and chips!

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Domaine du Colombier is run and cherished by the 5th generation of the Mothe family. Since 1887 they have grown their land holdings in Chablis to 55 hectares (133 acres). The ages of the vines range from 5 to 55 years. Jean-Louis, Thierry and Vincent Mothe strive to create some of the best expressions of Chablis.
