Established in 1985 by David Hohnen when Marlborough was at this stage unknown as a wine producing area. From the very first vintage the wines of this estate were an instant success winning numerous awards. Arguably this winery has almost singlehandedly defined what an archetypal Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc should taste like.
